TDWine provides information technology consulting services for the wine industry. Stemming from a combination of two loves, the world of wine and solving business challenges through the application of information technology, TD Williams created TDWine. TD is a seasoned technology executive with expertise in identifying opportunities, formulating ideas, and delivering solutions.
His love of wine started back in the late nineties. After completing a business trip to Silicon Valley, an extra ‘travel day’ landed him in Napa Valley with a few business colleagues. Seventeen wineries and one very gracious designated driver later, he was hooked. He visits the wine country as often as he can and in his spare time studies wine books, magazines, and industry trends. An avid cook, he frequently holds wine tastings and food pairings to increase his knowledge of wine. In 2009 after several years of progressive but non-focused wine study, he took and passed the introductory Guild of Sommeliers exam. That makes him a (wannabe) wine expert.
